How It Started

We are a family whose lives were forever changed by the love and loss of our daughter, Remi.

After years of infertility, Remi was our miracle, our surprise baby who filled our hearts with hope, joy, and endless dreams for the future. Although her time with us was far too short, the impact she made on our lives will last forever.

Remi's Luz Foundation was created in her honor. "Luz," meaning light, reflects the love and light that Remi continues to bring into our lives and the lives of others. Through this foundation, we strive to support families who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby or infant, ensuring they know they are not alone in their grief.

Our mission is to provide comfort, remembrance, and resources through keepsake boxes, community outreach, awareness events, and compassionate support. We believe that every baby, no matter how brief their time on earth, deserves to be remembered, celebrated, and honored.

Through Remi's legacy, we hope to shine a light for grieving families, foster understanding within our community, and create a space where love, healing, and remembrance can grow.
